Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed in Madinah and has 286 Ayahs, 6201 words, and 40 Rukus. It is the longest Surah of the Quran.
Protection from Shaytan: Prophet (S.A.W.) said, “Shaytan does not enter a house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.” (Tirmidhi: 2877)
Ten Verses for Protection: Reciting first 4 Ayahs, Ayat Al-Kursi (255), next 2 Ayahs (256-257), and last 3 Ayahs keeps Shaytan away.
